  • Payment details if you purchase a subscription (handled securely by our payment processor; we do not store your full payment card details).

  • Technical data such as device information, log files, and usage analytics to improve service performance.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve our platform and services.

  • Communicate with you regarding updates, support, and account activity.

  • Process subscription payments where applicable.

  • Monitor and analyze platform usage for business and security purposes.

End-Customer Data

Our platform allows your customers to earn and redeem loyalty points. When they do so, we may process limited customer data (e.g., phone number, loyalty activity) on your behalf. In this capacity, Snap Loyalty acts as a data processor, and you, the business owner, are the data controller under GDPR.

  • We process customer data only in accordance with your instructions.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate legal basis to collect and share your customers’ data with us.

Data Retention & Inactive Accounts

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide services or as required by law.

  • If your business account has remained inactive for 24 months and no subscription has ever been purchased, we may permanently delete the account and associated personal data, in line with GDPR storage limitation principles.

  • An account is considered inactive if there has been no customer loyalty activity (points earned or redeemed) during this period.

Data Sharing

We do not share any personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except:

  • With service providers who help us operate our platform (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processors).

  • When required to by law, regulation, or legal process.

  • If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case you will be notified.

Security

We protect your data within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. However, please note that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
